Vermont Mad River Water Temperature Study |
The objective of this study was to determine the water temperature regimes in the Mad River Vermont from headwaters to its confluence. This study included using existing data to develop a stream temperature network. The project used the Stream Network Temperature Model (SNTEMP, Theurer, Voos and Miller 1984) to determine components such as stream width and riparian shading that affected water temperature.
