South Fork South Platte

The objective of this study was to determine instream flow needs and fish habitat requirements in a rehabilitated section of the South Fork South Platte River, Colorado. The study included quantification of aquatic habitat.
Noteworthy components of the project:
Habitat was quantified for the entire stream study reach.
Instream flow analysis was conducted to determine the appropriate stream flows for the reach.
Recommendations were made for stream rehabilitation.
Post stream rehabilitation habitat quantification was conducted to determine change in habitat with stream rehabilitation.
